Culture as a Strength
Our People Make Smart Exploration Possible
KATI is firmly rooted in Finnish soil, and genuine care for people has always been a core value. As a family business, we value long-term employment relationships and a committed team, whose expertise is at the heart of our operations. We invest in the safety and wellbeing of our employees by providing modern working conditions and equipment. Every member of our team is treated fairly and with respect, because we believe that intelligent and responsible mineral exploration is built on skilled and well-cared-for people.
Become Part of the KATI Drilling Intelligence Team
We are constantly looking for new talent. Many of our new employees start as drilling assistants, gaining experience in various stages of the drilling process as part of a team. The work is physical and requires commitment, but offers a unique opportunity to experience the nature of Finland and Sweden up close. From drilling assistant, it’s a natural step to progress to driller or other expert roles within the company — career paths are open at KATI.
Smart and Responsible Operations
We value initiative, service-mindedness, and the ability to work independently. Technical understanding of heavy equipment and small machinery is a plus, as are language skills and a comfort with working in nature. Our special expertise lies in operating in sensitive and protected environments, so respect for and understanding of nature is essential to us.
Our Employees’ Stories
KATIlla työ on vapaata, kun reissun päällä ollaan. Vaikka viikon mittainen työrupeama saattaa tuntua raskaalta on sitten vasta painoksi viikko vapaata.
Jarmo Vasalampi, kairaaja
