Diamond drilling is conducted in varying conditions, in the terrain or town centre, so the drill rig has to adapt in many ways. Awkward terrain requires easy mobility, low weight is important with helicopter haulage and tunnels need particularly resilient machine properties.

Core drilling using the Devidrill method
Core drilling is facilitated using our Devidrill branching method that allows directing the drill hole in the required direction. Multiple branches can also be made in the drill hole. This is a cost-effective way of exploring a larger area using the mother-hole when the area to be studied lies at a depth of nearly a kilometer or more.
How can we obtain representative core samples?
A representative core sample is vitally important for e.g. determining ore content and rock characteristics. Making careful choices, such as the use of drilling additives, the samples can be protected from washing and therefore improve sample yield percentages. We study the additives carefully and choose the best for the application, and those that put less strain on the environment. Other tool selections assist in obtaining good samples. All these factors combined with the high competence of the rig operator ensure favourable results.
