The difficulty in being a pioneer in one’s business is that proper equipment is not for sale. KATI drilling units are an illustration of the knowledge that we have gained as a result of decades of experience working on the field. We know what kind of equipment is needed in extreme conditions.
Our diamond drilling units represent the very latest in exploration drilling technology, and they are designed for varying conditions. At times it is important to move quickly in difficult terrain; sometimes the equipment has to be light enough to be transported by helicopter; and at other times a strong and reliable “mine-worker” is needed. In our design and product development we strive for efficient and environmentally friendly equipment, which takes into account the principles for occupational safety. Our drill rigs can drill up to 1500m depth.
Diamond drill rig categories Most of our drill rigs are rubber tracked self-moving units specially designed for exploration diamond drilling. These rigs with very good moving ability in demanding terrain come with Onram 1000 or 1500 drill units. We also offer a possibility to choose light weight drill rig which can be moved by helicopter, rubber tracked vehicle or even snow scooter or ATV. The rig model is Onram 1000. Being a helicopter portable rig, it is ideal for projects located in remote areas where ordinary drilling rigs are difficult to transport.
